                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                   PART II, CHAPTER 24, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 
                   24-45, RELATIVE TO DISPLAY OF REGISTRATION 
                   PLATES.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  That Chattanooga City Code, Part II, Chapter 
       24, be and is hereby amended so as to add a new Section 24-45 as 
       follows:
            Sec. 24-45.	   Display of registration plates.
            
            	 All motor vehicles operated within the City shall 
            display registration plates issued by a state 
            government. 
            
            
       	    	 SECTION 2.  That this ordinance shall be effective two 
       (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
